Where Baby go???????

I love my step son, he's a riot... Bobby's family was in town yesterday for his cousin's baby shower. She was istting on the couch, and we could see the baby moving across the room. I called Aleia and Wyatt over to see the baby moving in Kelly's tummy.. They sat there for a min and watched her big belly move around. Wyatt gave her tummy a few good pats before he noticed that her belly had stopped moving. Quickly he lifted her shirt and exclaimed... "Where baby go???!" I guess he thought Kelly was doing a magic trick!

Friday we went to Crazy Horse since Remington's no longer has karaoke. Did NOT like it... ugh! I don't plan on going back again if I don't have to. At least not on a Friday night. Too smokey and too packed. Not my kind of place at all. I'm hoping when The Horn re-opens it will be closer to a Remington's feel. It better not be snooty like it was before it closed.

Farewell Joey Bar.......

I didn't even get to bid you adieu! The stupid new general manager decided that karaoke was an unnecessary expense, and called Ed today to come get his equipment, thus ending 5 years of karaoke at the four points. I don't even know what to say about it. I'm quite pissed that the guy couldn't even let Ed have one last show for a big send off.... Ugh!

I finish the training part of my job tomorrow, and start my regular schedule on Monday. Bobby e-mailed the warehouse he interviewed with on Mon to check on the job and she called to say that they picked another person. He's applied a billion places too, I wish someone would call him dang it.. although I do like haveing the dishes done and dinner ready when i get home...

Wyatt, the fish!

Ahhhhhhhhh what a nice family day we had!!! I've missed just doing something with us and the kids. Bobby's cousin got us into the new amusement park for the friends & Family free day. Aleia was a crab without a nap, but Wyatt surprisingly was all for it! I tromped up the giant slide steps 3 times with him! It was hilarious! Donna and her 2 sons went with us. Finally got Aleia to ride the helicopters, but other than that, she wasn't havin it! Bobby's sister is in a new by the week studio apt place that used to be a ?Ramada, and had us bring the kids swimming afterwards. The water felt soooooooo good after getting hot a sticky at the amusement park! Now for the shocker... Wyatt's a fish! 2 years old, arm floaties, and he refused to let us help him.. he just jumped into the 6ft side and kicked around and splashed.. Bobby and I both were like.. Look at him go! We came home, and we had dinner around the table together, no tv, just us and the kids. Sucha rewarding day! The sunburn is totally worth it!

I had mom take us top her storage unit yesterday,a nd we got some of my yard things from when i lived in Illinois. Bobby hung the toddler and seat swing up in the big clothesline pole, and got Aleia's basketball hoop out. I got the mailbox painted. It's so purty! I still need to paint the numbers on the side of it.

Hopefully I may have a job too... I went to T-Mobile for scheduled testing on Wed and was there for 3 hours! I went back Thurs for an interview, and was there for 2 1/2 hours. They said they'd call to schedule a 2nd interview for me this week. The hours could be crappy, but I don't care.. I've sent out over 150 aps and resumes for everything from reception to sales clerk to cleaning crew. Bout the only thing I won't do is a gas station, too many clerks murdered here lately. The people at T-Mobile were really really nice, and it was such a relaxed atmosphere.

I've hit another milestone with Aleia, Thurs I had to call and register her for kindergarten round up at the elementary school in 2 weeks. It just doesn't seem possible that she should be going to kindergarten in 4 months! This time has gone by so fast. She's very quickly growing up!

Whoever cursed me needs to get a life!

I swear most days it feels like someone placed a curse on me... Bobby and I are doing much better... It's not perfect, but then we're still stressing over things... We made it through his cousin's funeral last weekend. Stayed with his sister, and had a good time. I had hoped we'd of heard about a job for him from an interview he had Sunday at the new amusement park. How in the hell his cousin got hired on there as security is beyond me. The man barely can put a ssentence together... He can't cope with that kind of responsibility! Ugh... Fri night, my dad called to tell me that my grandma was rushed to the hospital in Illinois. Her liver has shut down. We're waiting for the MRI results to see if her liver ruptured. If so, they can't fix it as her quack dr who had been called about it let it go so long that the poisons have already flooded her body, and we can only try to make her as comfortable as possible. I wasn't wantinga trip to Illinois for that kind of a reason.
